Mental Pitfalls for Teens
This six week programme is a guided exploration into the mental and emotional challenges faced by young people today, designed specifically for parents, educators and adults who support teens. We will unpack the key areas that shape a teenager’s inner world, including mental fortification, anger, depression, anxiety, addictive tendencies, social media pressures and the foundations of healthy character development.
Across the sessions, we will address difficult yet necessary topics with clarity and compassion. These include the rising impact of drugs and vaping culture, compulsive gaming, exposure to illicit online content, unhealthy social media habits, emotional eating, food related obesity and the links between lifestyle, mood and long term wellbeing.
Using a blend of temperament based insights, modern psychology and classical wisdom, this programme aims to give adults a deeper understanding of what teens are navigating beneath the surface. You will gain frameworks, language and practical strategies that help you guide them more effectively, support their emotional growth and build stronger, healthier relationships rooted in awareness and trust.
Please note this is a pre-recorded session.
